I find you to be
gushy etceteras,
so on and
so forth...
I know that
once we find each
other,
blood-boiling,
skin-tingling,
breath-taking
things
will rush into
existence.
My body (im-)
patiently awaits
the arrival of
yours into it's
cracks,
curves,
crevices;
the alliterationed list
(lust?)
continues...
Emotional preparations,
reformations, and overlooked
temptations.
Be sure that
I care.
There is evidence,
or so it
would appear.

still my favorite of this group, I think. bytheway, I checked my copy of that evan m collins poem, and you did drop a "musings" from the title - which makes all the difference - nicely done!
ReplyDeleteGrace, I read your works and I appriciate the style and "cadence" (I don't know if that is a description or not). You write, "I think of futures beyond the futures we can picture for ourselves now; the ones where reality actually exists." That gives me a sense of the abstractness of life and the abstract meaning of hope and completion. how the abstractness of hope and the reality of what is possible has already matrialized ... except for whatever is presently preventing things from being real psychologically...
ReplyDeleteI was trying to feel more rather than intellectualizing.
(so thanks), ps this is Bryan, (I just met you outside Butterfly with Cassie)
